Like Wearing Air

Lightweight enough for the hottest Indian summers, elegant enough for your most special occasions. Discover why thousands of women are making the switch to Mul Cotton.

Feather-Light Feel

Feather-Light Feel

Mul Cotton is one of the lightest cotton weaves in existence. At just a fraction of the weight of regular cotton, it drapes like a whisper — ideal for all-day comfort in Indian summers.

Breathable & Absorbent

Breathable & Absorbent

The porous weave allows continuous airflow and absorbs moisture. No sticking, no discomfort — even at 40°C. Your skin breathes all day.

Elegant Drape

Elegant Drape

Falls beautifully without stiffness or bulk. Gives you the premium look and movement of silk — without the weight, maintenance, or price tag.

Gets Softer With Every Wash

Gets Softer With Every Wash

Unlike synthetics that pill and fade, Mul Cotton becomes softer and more comfortable with each wash. It ages beautifully — just like fine craft should.

From Loom to You

"Every saree we sell carries a story — of the weaver who spent days at the loom, of a craft that's been alive for generations, and of a choice to value art over mass production."

Mul Cotton — or Mulmul — has a heritage that traces back centuries. Once woven for Mughal royalty, this ultra-fine cotton was considered so precious that it was measured by weight, not length.

At Ethnic Elements, every Mul Cotton saree is sourced directly from traditional handloom clusters. No middlemen. No mass production. Each piece supports the artisan families who keep this craft alive.

Everything You Need to Know

What is the saree length?

Our Mul Cotton sarees are standard 5.5 meters in length (including the pallu) and 42-44 inches in width (no blouse).

Is Mul Cotton transparent / see-through?

Mul Cotton is naturally lightweight and semi-sheer. We recommend wearing a cotton petticoat/underskirt for a polished look. This is standard for all mulmul sarees across brands.

How do I care for my Mul Cotton saree?

Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Do not wring — gently squeeze and air dry in shade. Iron on low heat. Mul Cotton actually gets softer and more comfortable with each wash.

What is the return / exchange policy?

We accept returns and exchanges for defective, damaged, incorrect, or eligible preference-based cases, subject to policy checks. Items must be unused and returned with original tags and packaging intact. For help, contact support@ethnicelement.com

Is COD (Cash on Delivery) available?

Yes! COD is available across India. We also accept all major credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallet payments.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are processed Monday to Friday and usually dispatched within 1-2 business days, with standard delivery taking 48-72 working hours after dispatch.
